Spectrum Insights is an online self-screening tool that estimates an autism trait profile based on your answers to 45 questions. It is designed for self-reflection and education.

It is not a medical diagnosis. No part of the service should be relied on to make medical, mental-health, employment, educational, or legal decisions. Only a qualified clinician can diagnose autism. If your results resonate and you want a clinical opinion, please consult a professional in your jurisdiction.

You must be at least 16 years old to use Spectrum Insights. By using the service you confirm that you meet this age requirement and that the information you provide is your own.

You can use Spectrum Insights anonymously. If you choose to create an account, you are responsible for keeping your password secure and for any activity under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorised access.

The 45-question assessment is free. To unlock the full personalised report (overall score, six-category breakdown, radar chart, strengths, challenges, recommendations, downloadable PDF, and email delivery) there is a one-time payment of $4.99 USD processed by Stripe.

Once unlocked, your report remains available on the device or account used to purchase it. Spectrum Insights does not auto-renew, subscribe you, or charge any recurring fee.

You agree not to:

• Use the service to make decisions about other people without their consent.
• Attempt to access, scrape, or reverse-engineer any part of the service or its underlying scoring logic.
• Submit content intended to disrupt, abuse, or impersonate.
• Use the service in violation of any applicable law.

The Spectrum Insights name, logo, copy, questionnaire wording, scoring algorithm, and visual design are owned by us. You may share your individual results (including the share card we generate) for personal, non-commercial use. You may not republish the questionnaire, scoring formulas, or written content elsewhere without written permission.

The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that your trait profile is accurate, complete, or applicable to your specific situation. Trait screening is an inherently approximate exercise and results can shift between sessions depending on mood, context, and self-understanding.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spectrum Insights and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

You may stop using the service and delete your data at any time (see our Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate access to users who violate these terms or use the service in a way that puts other users at risk.

We may update these terms occasionally. When we do, the "Last updated" date above will change. Material changes will be highlighted on the home page for at least 14 days before they take effect.
